Next Media, CBS FM partner for UB40 Featuring Ali Campbell concert

Preparations for the concert, scheduled to take place this weekend at the Kololo Independence Grounds, are in full swing, with the international musician Ali Campbell expected to touch down on Thursday.

KAMPALA | In anticipation of the eagerly awaited UB40 Featuring Ali Campbell concert, Next Media has joined forces with CBS FM, Buganda Kingdom's radio station, in a collaborative effort to ensure a memorable event for fans.

Preparations for the concert, scheduled to take place this weekend at the Kololo Independence Grounds, are in full swing, with the international musician Ali Campbell expected to touch down on Thursday.

According to Desire Derek Ford Mugumisa, Head of Corporate Affairs at Next Media, the gold ticket section for the event has already been fully booked, but fans still have the opportunity to secure Platinum, Bronze, and other VIP tickets.

Mugumisa emphasised the significance of the partnership with CBS FM, citing the longstanding relationship between Next Media and Buganda Kingdom.

"Next Media has partnered with CBS FM stations in the lead-up to the concert in respect of our longstanding relationship with Buganda Kingdom," Mugumisa stated during an appearance on 89.2 CBS FM.

The UB40 featuring Ali Campbell concert marks its grand return after its cancellation in 2023 due to international conferences of NAM and G77.

With preparations underway and excitement building among fans, the stage is set for an unforgettable evening of music and entertainment.
